Buses from Alghero Airport
There are a number bus routes from Alghero Airport connecting to the centre of Alghero and Sassari, Cagliari, Nuoro and Bosa all year round.
The summer routes which operate from Alghero Airport are to S.Teresa Gallura and Stintino from 1st June to 30th September.
Below are details of the various routes with contact details for the relevant bus or coach operator so that you can check the most up to date timetables.
Buses from Alghero Airport to Alghero
When you leave the arrivals terminal turn right and cross the car park. About 100 metres away are the bus stops, with orange buses running to Alghero and other buses heading to Sassari and Cagliari. Tickets for the Alghero buses which cost around €0.70can be bought at the souvenir shop in the terminal, or if this is closed, on the bus. Journey time to the city centre is 20 minutes.
The route is as follows: Fertilia - Piazza V. Giulia - V.le 1° Maggio - Via Liguria - Via Don Minzoni - Stazione Ferroviaria - Lungomare Barcellona - P.zza Porta Terra - Via Vitt. Emanuele - Via Cagliari Casa del Caffè.
Departure times from the airport start at 05.20 and buses run on the hour from 06:00 to 23:00
Departure times from Alghero city centre start at 05:00, 05:40 and then at hourly intervals from 06:30 until 22:30.

Buses from Alghero Airport to Sassari
These buses are operated by the bus company ARST and they wait for the incoming flights. Tickets cost €0.50. Stops in Sassari are Via Turati (capolinea fronte stallo 1) - C.so Regina Margherita (Tonni's Bar) - Via XXV Aprile
The buses depart from Alghero Airport at 09:25, 10:40, 13:35, 16:55, 18:15, 21:10 and 22:35
They leave Sassari Via XXV Aprile at 05:00*, 05:30*, 06:40*, 08:50, 10:00, 12:00, 16:20, 17:15 and 18:50
