Known locally as the Fertilia Airport (Alghero Riviera del Corallo), the terminal building has recently been modernised and the departures area has 17 check-in desks, 7 gates and one runway, which measures around 3,300 metres / 10,825 feet.
Shopping facilities are available in the departures lounge with retail outlets offering locally produced souvenirs, handicrafts, duty free goods and alcohol. The main stores include Ichnos and Alta Marea.
Although the terminal has limited facilities you will find all the basic amenities including ATMs, a bank and currency exchange. There is a pharmacy to provide last-minute essentials and while you are waiting for your flight a range of food and drink can be purchased at the café, restaurant or bar, while Sardinian snacks are available at the Kokkos shop.
